I have two rules when I attend a crowded party.
1. No standing on crowded balconies.
2. Avoid crowded floors that aren’t over concrete; especially when people are shoulder to shoulder and jumping up and down.
Nothing may happen, but there is danger; especially on balconies of tall buildings.
3. Don’t invite too many obese people or let the congregate in one place—spread the food around the room.
Outstanding rules of engagement. I get sick to my stomach when I see people doing things that test the limits of structural integrity. Particularly when they are drinking and aren’t thinking about anything substantive.
Same two rules I have. I also don’t go to ‘crowded’ parties, anymore, unless I’m close to an exit.
