The URL -- extracted by right-clicking and "'Copy URL'-ing" on the ["X"] (["?"] on Safari) is "https://cdn.qmap.pub/images/c7829.jpg" -- which does produce the [X] or [?] when viewed on FR:

but... right-clicking on the [X] or [?] -- And selecting "Display image in new window" does display the image.

Hmmmm... "Relative" vs "Absolute" linking privilege problem?

Relative Linking to files in the "CDN.qmap.pub" sub-site -- (from within the "QMAP.PUB" domain) is allowed.

Absolute ("HOT") - Linking to files in the "CDN.qmap.pub" sub-site -- (from outside the "QMAP.PUB" domain) is NOT allowed.
