Looks like somebody should have made an effort to cancel the postage on the package, so it’d look like if you actually had sent it through the mail.
Also, the device was obviously taken out of the package, probably by authorities.
I don’t think by the authorities. I’ve read many comments all over the place, including LE, and they would never let the public see all that stuff including the envelope, address etc before an investigation. It was opened at CNN, apparently by Acosta.
CNN knew it was a fake, probably told in advance what to expect.
