I have to admit I'm stunned. I actually didn't think the Sox could get past the Yankees this season, much less the Astros.

As an 87 year old fan of 70+ years, I am absolutely thrilled!! I remember like it was yesterday attending a World Series playoff game in 1967-Red Sox against the Cardinals. Sat 3 rows behind first base and watched Geo Scott play first base, Lonberg pitch a no-hitter through 7 innings, Yaz and Conig in the outfield and the Hawk catching. Unfortunately, though they won that game, they went on to lose the series. Hope for better luck this year. Too old to attend games now, but never miss watching at home.
