She has a point.
Consider the Little Mermaid.
The advice wrapped in this (tail) is:
Disobey your father and marry outside of your species.
Do you think I should wear more than clam shells on my bosoms? Yes.
Somehow I dont think Kristen talks about that.
Or how the newer princesses are bratty and think whacking men is ok.
How about Beauty and the Beast? Fall in love with the monster that imprisoned you and your father. It worked out exactly as he planned. Talk about Stockholm Syndrome.
“Disobey your father and marry outside of your species.”
Nothing wrong with that. She’s a natural slut s/
Well, to be fair, her father WAS pretty much downright genocidal against humans initially (the whole “one less human to worry about” remark was low, to be honest).
Besides, at least Disney’s version had a better message than the original tale, which effectively amounted to “screw over your family and everyone around you, and you can get an immortal soul should you commit suicide by relenting to kill a prince”. Quite frankly, the one in the original tale should have gone to Hell for what she did to her family and pretty much everyone else (heck, her committing suicide would have made her barred from Heaven anyway).
