SORRY, but you are wrong. Running/Owning a LEGAL brothel isn’t the same as being a PIMP out on the streets.
I live within 27 miles of 4 or 5 brothels in my county....Lyon County, Nevada.
I have lived here for over 13 years. I have NEVER heard of one single problem at those brothels. They are run very well & very strictly. No customer is allowed to stay who is obviously drunk or who is in a fighting mood of behavior. They have employees of all ages, and over half of those ladies are married. They can work the hours they wish & make a good living. They are medically checked WEEKLY and the bouncers don’t tolerate anyone being stupid.
This county has NO street walkers. We have no problems at all connected with Dennis Hof. The taxes paid by those brothels amount to over $10 million a year, with business licenses, liquor licenses, etc. This county only has 52,000 residents. That tax revenue means a great deal to this county, which is heavily populated with retired persons on small Soc Sec income.
Religious people of many varieties may not like these facts, but there is alot of the old west still living here in Nevada, and they are NOT a problem in this county. Pretty much live & let live. Just stay out of trouble.
Well, by all means then - let’s legalize brothels nationwide!

I agree with you whole heartedly. There is a difference between someone who makes films to be spread around of sex, and a prostitute making a living in a legal brothel. Sure, it is a sin, as is casting aspersions on people you do not know.
King David, a mighty man of God, sent a soldier to certain death so he could be saved the shame of the mans wife being pregnant by him, while the man was deployed for months. If that can be forgiven, what are the depths of sin that also can be?
I would rather that young ladies stay virginal until marriage, and boys went to brothels, than what is going on now, with the “hook-up culture”.
In neither case though would I assume to judge, or cast aspersions.
