There are rumblings that the Australian Ambassador Alexander Downer may have been wired in his conversation with Papadopoulos.
And that recording may exist somewhere.
And the recording is “exculpatory”.
And the FBI had that “exculpatory” material in hand when it applied for and got the last FISA warrant approved...knowing full well it the rationale was phony.
THAT’s the part that will nail them.
Did you notice how Downer has been trying to distance himself and remove himself from the situation? Do we think that is any accident?
He knows what was said. Papadopoulos knows what was said. And likely, the FBI has a recording somewhere (and Downer is fully aware, since it it is now suspected he was “wired”) which means...if that recording is somewhere it can be gotten...it will be gotten.
That’s a very interesting theory, and could explain Papo’s sudden 180 if he found out about it. It could also be that the intelligence agencies have recordings made through cell phone microphones, of even others in proximity, and that technology is one of the main reasons why the information is being withheld. Bottom line I still don’t trust the current DoJ to investigate and prosecute this thoroughly, there needs to be an outside independent investigation conducted, led by someone like Joe DiGennova.
