Oh, the hugh manatee! KVUE.com abc tv is still reporting on the flooding in one of Austin’s hike and bike trails. It’s horrible! Simply, earth shattering!!! The reporter was showing a puddle of water when a jogger came by. Snort, snort, ruined that live shot, huh. Libs have a special set of priorities. Never mind people’s houses and businesses are being wiped away.
Here, the river is inside boat houses but that’s ok. Buchanan dam has 8 gates open and there’s talk of opening more.
People are mad about the deaths and destruction saying LCRA should have let water out before the floods hit and that the never ending repairs have taken longer than the initial building of the dam. The dam is still not up to par and that’s a constant worry. If it were to bust... well...
Seems to me that if Austin was swept away by flood waters it would be a definite improvement tor TX.
