I think Trump should just close down the border to any “refugees” or asylum seekers until we get proper laws in place.
He could do this by EO, claiming the immigration courts are hopelessly backlogged now, which they are.
We shut down immigration in 1924, and except for some displaced persons after WW2, we did not open it up again until 1954.

Every time Sessions has tried to go back to following the law, some judge knocks it down. They need to e able to ignore activists judges and their illegal opinions.
