Holy cow!!

I expected a single pier shift -- with one section dropped -- that could be bypassed with a simple , temporary "Bailey Bridge" span.

Not so: that video showed the water peeling almost the entire concrete road deck off of the bridge!

The stupid CBS website won't allow image posting... :-(

Prayers up for everyone in that area. We’re getting soaked here too but not quite as bad. Of course that can change in a minute in Texas.
