Wow, FRiend! I didn't even know it had rained in the Hill Country...
It does look like you're in a 'melluvahess'!
The 2900 bridge I see on Google Earth is no culvert over a dry wash; it's a major, concrete TxDOT bridge, nearly 1/4 mile long -- over the upper end of Lake Marble Falls!
That's a substantial bridge! Is it actually down -- or is it (and/or its approaches) "merely" underwater?
It sounds like you're on the south shore across from Kingsland. If so, it looks like the closest bridge across the Colorado is at Marble Falls -- roughly 25 miles away! And your closest (by road) source of supplies may be Llano -- 20+ miles north..
Please keep us updated as to how you're getting along -- and what TxDOT (not my favorite TX agency -- based on the Rick Williamson/TTC days) is doing to solve your ingress/egress problem!
(Of course, I'm hoping that you, being a resourceful TX resident, have kept your boat safe and handy...) '-)

Hope you don't mind prayers -- 'cause I'm a-doin' it anyway... '-)
All the best,
TXnMA

(Safe, high, & dry atop our watershed ridge over (6 hrs & 350 miles away) here in the northeastern TX PineyWoods...)

The 2900 bridge is GONE. Washed away. No more. Check out www.keyetv.com to see it collapse.
Kingsland is pretty much cut off. Today was the second biggest flood on the Llano River of all time. North of town above the 2900 bridge is the slab road coming from Llano (picture from last week’s flood is in the pics at the top of this thread) and it is closed still/again with the new flood today. The 1430 bridge on the south side of town is closed and under water. The 2900 bridge was on the west entry into town. The only way into town is from the north on Hwy. 29 (Fuzzy’s corner for those who know the area).
Annnnd, another lost boat is going past us right now. A boat that had floated into the neighbors’ yard early this morning floated off just a couple minutes ago. Don’t know why they didn’t secure it.
Terrible about that bridge - luv are you near this does it affect you?
