Unfortunately, they don’t insure boat docks because they go so easily in floods. They will insure for a bomb dropping on it. Crazy, huh.

Interesting tidbit on the 2900 bridge - President LBJ had a lake house on the west side of the river at Kingsland. Gov. Connelly lived on the east side right across from him. The HEB grocery store is a couple miles from the river but Lady Bird couldn’t get across the river to it so had to drive half an hour to Llano to grocery shop. Being a good husband, LBJ built the bridge, with tax dollars, so she could zip across to the store. Actually, we did need it so glad it was built. Now, it gets to be rebuilt.
Another idiot on a jet ski just went by. Maybe they’re trying to get them out of the water but the ramps are closed. Would be best to just pull them into their yards.
Cell service is spotty. TV cable comes and goes.
