In TX, we have web worms that destroy trees. They get into our pecan trees. Sometimes people try to spray or burn them out. But they come back every year. Some years, they have covered the house. Literally, covered the house and come inside through any little crack. Don't know why but there's usually a house attack about 1:30 pm daily in this time of year.

We call them bag worms. Another reason to feed birds in winter. They destroy to bags and eat the worms this time of year.
