There was no “federal ban” on abortion then. It was controlled by state law and some states, like New York had legalized abortion laws, and some outlawed it.
It was only the Supreme Court, and not the law or the Constitution that made a “federal” case of abortion, denying states the right to chose their own legal course on it and demanding states make it legal.
When Roe is overturned some States will allow abortions, some not. There will be different cut off dates.
Women will #1 use birth control more carefully, #2 take care of mistakes with a morning after pill #3 drive or fly across to another state. #4 Accept & love what God has sent, place for adoptions if necessary and discover the joy of being other centered rather than putting the self first.

Roe vs Wade did NOT legalize abortion in Chicago; it was already legalized. There was NO federal ban on abortion ever at all anywhere, period. It was considered a state issue, just like murder, DUI, etc. This appears to be nonsense designed to scare liberals into thinking that repealing Roe v Wade equates to banning abortion nationwide.
