He doesn’t claim it is intact. Another Google searcher found what may be another piece or two of the plane three miles or so away from this.
Looking at the picture the fuselage, wings and empennage look intact. Also it is unobstructed from viewing above despite being in a densely tree populated area.
Both create doubt this was from flight speed contact with large trees.
If you’re not going to read the article, at least read the topic. And vice versa.

Did you look at the Google pic? The plane is intact with wings still on.
