I don't know what our little guy was thinking, but he woke up, looked me over from head to toe, cooed and went back to sleep. For grandpa, it was love at first sight and brought back fond memories of our children's births.
Yeah, his arrival timing was inconvenient and challenging. For that matter, so was that of his mother.
But never once did my daughter's parents or my grandson's even think of dismembering them in the womb and waiting for perhaps a more convenient time.
