The author actually surfaces an important point that I don’t think gets sufficient attention: “good” families even very liberal ones do not condone abortion for their own daughters. They know what it is, but won’t admit it publicly.
Supporting that point, recall the guy who didn’t want his daughter “... punished with a baby”.
