Reasons:
1. She is a talented person
2. She could help to bring women to support Trump in the way Nikki Haley has.
3. Donald Trump is always needed good/solid folks in his administration - especially at high levels.
4. She could help to turn Minnesota into less Liberal and more Conservation.

Unfortunately, after starting strong she wrecked her own campaign with her constant, embarrassing gaffes, to the point that it became an embarrassment to support her.
I hope she learned something from that, but I'm not sure.
