Trump flipped Kav from DS in the pre-selection interview. Trump always mentions Kav’s children, probably a higher calling for a return to rule of law. Graham's military tribunal line of questioning was a probe to determine if Kav would stick to rule of law —Trump would have removed his support if Kav faltered. Graham was flipped months ago. Much more. My opinion is that the repeated reference to children may be that Kav was informed of the broader crimes against children and his duty to stop it.
