WASHINGTON – Jeb Bush wasn’t invited to niece Barbara Bush’s surprise weekend wedding, it was revealed Wednesday.
Former first lady Laura Bush said the former Florida governor and failed presidential candidate didn’t make the cut for the small-scale, and short notice, Oct. 7 nuptials — in which her eldest daughter with former President George W. Bush married actor Craig Coyne.
“Well, I think Barbara just kept it a secret, plus so few people were invited,” the former FLOTUS told journalist Cokie Roberts, who interviewed her on stage at an event in Washington, DC.

I’m sure Jeb regrets every day he didn’t run in 2012, he was all the rage then since Romney wasn’t blowing anybody away. Jeb still would have lost probably but he woulda been the nominee in 2012.

When you’re getting married in your late 30’s as Barbara was, you really don’t want a big wedding. Looking at the photo of “W” walking her down the aisle, it doesn’t look like they had more than 20 guests. Good for her, not a $1,000,000 foundation-funded wedding like another former president’s daughter. Here’s hoping they have a long, happy, loving marriage.

To everyone singling out Jeb, it doesn’t look like the other 3 brothers or sister Dorothy is there either.
Some people just do not want a big fussy wedding and Barbara, who’s been in the spotlight much of her life, is one of those people.
Side boob in a wedding dress is the epitome of tacky.
Maybe to take attention away from the baby bump. A hastily put together wedding, we shall see in a few months (or less).

Laura: Her dress looks like my blue Wedgwood china. The white pattern makes her look wide and short. Her hairstyle is dated, too. Betty Ford-ish, from the alcoholic years.
The groom: Did he just return from his bachelor party?
Barbara: She looks just odd. Vulgar dress. The pic with her bony ribs is bizarre. Makes me wonder if she’s a smoker like her mother and doesn’t eat.
George W.: Well, he looks just dapper. Best dressed!
