Yep. In contrast I saw Ringo Starr’s All Star Band about 10 years ago. He came out upbeat, and you could tell he loved being in front of an audience. The first third of the show was him standing and singing all the songs he sang with the Beatles, which was what most of the audience wanted to hear. Then he said “Now I get to do what I love most, play drums” and he got behind the set while they played each member’s two or three biggest hits. The last part of the show he became a front man again and sang all his solo songs. It was a great show and everyone left happy.
