“Evangelicals are under represented.”

Do any of you folks questioning the Faith of the Justices realize what you sound like? I can remember my mom talking about how the non-Catholics just swore that JFK would follow the Pope’s instructions. REMINDS ME OF THOSE COMMENTS SHE TALKED ABOUT.

The Lord God did not choose those to take His people through what they went through just based on their Religious standing. Matter of fact, remember to check out the Disciples and see what a mess they were compared to the Social Standings in their day!

I want...scratch that...WE NEED folks who are ready to stand on the Constitution. For far too long we allowed and make excuses for those who didn’t.

Pres Bush (younger) allowed a representative of Satan into the National Cathedral. That was the day I knew we were going to be in trouble with him. Until then, he may have made errors. That day, however, he purposely allowed evil on to the stage and then continued lying about Islam.

Give Judge Amy a break. My standard for her is the same as for Pres Trump, Vice-Pres Pence, Justice Kavanaugh: Follow the Lord God and our Constitution. Until they miss that up, even if I get snarky, I’m backing them.

I will now put up my soapbox. Thank you, for not throwing rotten tomatoes.

The tactics of spreading division become fairly obvious once you start looking for them.

The interesting part is trying to sort out which are just naturally divisive, which are paid, and which are under orders.

“I can remember my mom talking about how the non-Catholics just swore that JFK would follow the Pope’s instructions.”

I am old enough to have heard that myself, not via stories told by Mom. That’s not where I’m coming from. With so many friends who are Catholic and Jewish, I see that they are less pro-life than the evangelicals I know.

My Catholic friends talk the pro-life talk, but donate tons of money to “Emily’s List” and volunteer for Planned Parenthood. I think if/when Roe v. Wade is overturned it will not be by Catholics or Jews. Even though they say they’re pro-life, they also say that they’re OK with “settled law” (and it appears they are), and won’t rock that boat. When something is wrong and evil, you don’t just shrug your shoulders and say, “No big deal; it’s settled law, so I won’t mess with it.” No; people are dying and it needs to be stopped.

The people who came here in the 1600s, and rose up in the 1700s, were of sterner stuff. They were bold beyond measure. They’re the kind of people who will stand tough to make changes. And they’re more likely to be Originalists when it comes to the Constitution, as people whose blood runs through their veins created it, with God’s help.

In CA, I made Jewish friends, some who remain friends today. (One of my favorite tee shirts is “Chosen Chick”, given to me by a Jewish girlfriend.) They aren’t pro-life. Although I stand in solidarity with Israel as a nation, individually the ones I know don’t care about the unborn. At all.

I know ALL Jewish people and ALL Catholics don’t fit my narrative above, but to have a better mix of faiths makes sense to me. How terrible would that be?
