That's what I was thinking too. What is the point? It is a major commitment to wait to get in, stand there & then get home after probably horrendous parking. Just to stand there with your arms crossed?

Maybe mom wanted to go and made son (who lives in basement) go with her. She told him she’d pay him for going....but, ONLY if he showed some enthusiasm.
Maybe ma was SO exited about going that she had to take an extra valium, just to calm her nerves for the trip.
