Each side is being played against the other. The conservatives are being encouraged to be outraged. The liberals are outraged for a different set of reasons but the emotions on each side are basically the same. Outrage is the closest thing to the wrath of God of which the human heart is capable. I agree the sides are being played against each other, however, there is no moral equivalence between libs and conservatives (implied only in your post).
The emotions are not the same. There is a difference between righteous and unrighteous anger..
I don’t mean to imply moral equivalence. There is no moral equivalence to the murder of babies. I mean to point out that it is possible we are being manipulated by the pictures and stories on our conservative websites to be just as outraged as the left is. Ours is more pent up, but if that dam ever breaks.....
