She does small loads in a high cap machine. Not enough water and no agitator in the center to pull the cloths down.
She could lie to the machine and tell it she’s doing a big load-provided there’s a setting for the size of the load.
That exhausts my knowledge of front-loading machines. Good luck! (oh, you usually have better luck using liquid detergent, about 1/3 what you would use for top loaders).
