I would say more like 30%. The other 20% are duped fellow-travelers.

Of the people that deign to vote, that’s true. But around 40% or so of eligible voters don’t care, at least enough to vote about it. That’s more than the turnout for either political party. That’s pretty stunning and depressing in its own way.
