I have some brilliant friends. Some of whom purport to be conservatives and yet have been hostile to Trump from the beginning and still are. It boggles my mind.

President Trump has a past that could bothersome to some people, I know I was skeptical at first because I remembered him being in the news so much, I thought he was just a rich playboy.

He was also a democrat up until he threw his hat in the presidential ring. Add to that Mark Levin's tirades, and I can see where some conservatives can be against him still.

So, without intending to diss your friends, I'd say that although they are intelligent, they may not be able to think for themselves.

Do not agree.

After what he has accomplished the last two years if they are still against him then they are not conservatives!

Thanks. Worthy points.

And, I long thought Trump was an arrogant buffoon from his TV show. However, listening to his kids about him; listening to those who worked for and around him; a whole different personality emerged--far more humble, tender hearted, truly compassionate, concerned about details, gentle etc. than the public persona.

I think a lot of the bluster and brashness are a kind of tool set. He's used it often enough that he can about predict the results. And, at a minimum, like being a Rorschach for himself about others--he gets a lot of information by noting how other people respond to his various bluster and bombastic tools.

Besides all that, his IQ is over 156. He can probably run circles around a lot of opponents in his sleep or with half his brain tied behind him.
