Some just really really liked Cruz too - I think Levin’s daughter was on the Cruz team. I think they are partially mollified as we on the right honor the man as a senator, though as president, not so much.

Isn’t that an eye opener? The Chinese are here, they’re everywhere, they’re driving speech codes on campus, and have tentacles everywhere.

I voted for Cruz in the primaries out of loyalty to my State Senator. But after Trump secured the nomination, I had a larger loyalty to back Trump.

Regarding Cruz, he was dishonest about his dual citizenship, having been born in CA to a foreign national father and apparently US citizen mother (although that was uncertain) and thus his honesty is not 100%. If he behaves himself as Senator, all well and good, but never for president.
