That's not true. Mitch is tough as nails when something HE wants is at stake. Getting a conservative majority on the court is something Mitch cares about. Getting Kavanaugh confirmed is important to him. There will be consequences for crossing him.

Passing President Trump's agenda has not been a priority for Mitch.

Mitch is more tough as pudding. If he was tough as nails, he would have twisted Grassley’s arms at the outset to prevent that sexual harassment farce from ever beginning. He would have severely punished Feinstein for obstruction, he would have filed a lawsuit against Balsey-Fraud for her multiples lies under oath... Had he been 1/100 as ruthless as Schumer, who keeps the dems strictly in line, Kavanaugh would have been confirmed long ago.
