Hollywood, the media, and elitist academics owe their 'stature' in large measure to the symbiotic relationships they have with liberal politicians. Through these relationships they rub elbows with the DC power structure, attend 'exclusive' parties and functions, go to the White House when there is a Democrat in office, sometimes testify before Congress, and gain a soapbox from which to project themselves beyond their professions. The liberal politicians are, in turn, adored and lionized by them. Unfortunately, all of these groups, while symbiotic to one another, are parasites on society.
They hate Trump because he is pushing them back within the appropriate stature of their professions, pointing out when they are parasitic on society, and in general treating them as the ordinary people that they are. We all are, but unlike them, most of us don't have pathologically inflated egos and narcissistic personalities that lead us to believe we are 'special' and should personally guide the course of the world.
......”most if not all of these people are selfishly ‘fighting’ for themselves and their societal position - while wrapping themselves up in false ‘social justice’.”.....
Perfectly stated!
Great post. I totally agree. The people in Hollywood want to be part of the ruling class. The election hurt their giant egos.
