Given that liberals in general, and hollywood Leftists in particular, are soulless and empty, I still wonder if it galls Chris to portray a character who is so evidently opposite to himself.

When I was a kid growing up in the 60 - 70s, I loved comic books. And I especially loved Captain America. His was my first subscription (my parents gave me a subscription as a birthday present). I can remember breathlessly waiting for that day at the end of the month when I would get my new Captain America comic.
The Captain America of that day was as stand in for all of us true Americans. He fought against people like the Red Skull and Baron Zemo (both from Hydra), which was an organization that was first backed by Nazis in WWII and when I was a kid was a stand in for the Soviet Union.
Jack Kirby would be rolling over in his grave to think of this clown portraying Captain America. Captain America stood for everything that was right in America when I was a kid.
