U.S. Capitol Police on Wednesday arrested a suspect for allegedly doxing GOP senators by posting their private information online.
The suspect, 27-year-old Jackson Cosko of Washington, D.C., has been charged with publicizing restricted personal information, witness tampering, second-degree burglary, threatening interstate communications, unauthorized use of a government computer, identity theft, and unlawful entry, according to a Wednesday press release.
The Capitol Police said an investigation is ongoing, but declined to answer The Hills requests for comment.
Reports emerged last week that someone from within the U.S. House of Representatives had posted the home addresses and personal cell phone numbers of GOP Sens. Orrin Hatch (Utah), Mike Lee (Utah) and Lindsey Graham (S.C.) on Wikipedia.
Rumors circulated online that the IP address behind the edits came from the office of Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), though the California congresswoman later said the Capitol Police and a tech specialist determined the IP address in question does not belong to my office or anyone on my staff.
Cosco worked for Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-NH) and previously worked for Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA).
A September 2018 letter from Sheila Jackson Lee (D -TX) identified him as a staffer for her office at that time.
Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee is a member of the U.S. House Judiciary Committee.
A different person working for Hassan was the intern suspended for shouting F*** You at President Trump.
Jackson Lees office identified Cosko as an intern and said he was fired because of the accusations.
Additional charges may be forthcoming
Pencil neck geek.
If only we could treat the geeks as they do in the song!
Hope the punk gets KTFO by Debo in Prison.
Yes, it's that serious. He quite literally jeopardized the lives of those he doxxed.
Throw him in jail with a bar of soap and a tube of anal lube. He's gonna need it.

The doxed Senators received death threats. It's also Capitol Police (Feds) investigating, not DC Police (Keystone Cops).
He can continue to do this, given access to a computer and the internet. Trademark liberal smirk or not, he is in serious trouble.
Dont drop the soap!!!!
If Judge hadn’t written that book, we wouldn’t be in this mess now.
The face of the enemy.
Then he stupid
I can’t quite recall what it was, it’s been so long, but it seems that Richard Pryor once had something to say about “the look on your face”.
The look on Doxy-boy's face. Haven't finished my first cup yet.
He looks like a pussyhatter. I’ll bet he has a lot of boyfriends.
“Jackson Lees office identified Cosko as an intern and said he was fired because of the accusations.”
And now we know what was in the envelope.
Isn't that the kid in the flannel pajamas drinking hot cocoa??? Haha.
“He prefers to be called jack”
Jack is dead. He was weak. He now goes by the name Keira.
“Prison time in that list and the victims are members of Congress. They’ll throw the book at him. Rightly so.”
This is minimum 10 years in a Federal prison.
What failed in their vaunted standards department that this was allowed?
That was a surprise.
If God forbid something actually happens to one of those Senators he needs to be charged as an accessory.
