because of her uptalk. The tendency of women to end sentences with upward (questioning) inflection destroys any credibility they might otherwise have.
As for the "uptick", that was a thing with young teen girls about 10 years ago.
I didn't notice hers, probably because of the Canadian accent, but perhaps she developed the affection for a while at some point?
