People don’t understand that someone who claims Blowsey told them about it 30 years later is not corroboration that it actually happened. It is what is known as a consistent prior statement, that is sometimes used to bolster the credibility of testimony if the testimony is attacked as phony or made up, but is not considered evidence that proves the truth of the fact that is at issue. Most of the time, consistent prior statements are inadmissible.
