Yep in the event of an emergency in outer space, knowing where the flotation devices are would be a definite plus. Those emergency exits, too.

"emergency exits" Ive watched too many sci-fi movies. Im imagining a craft that has a body that is basically cylindrical framework with a service corridor down the center and the seating is a series of recessed escape pods something like a cluster munition full of people.
I suppose though that there's no point in that until we are more advanced and there are other places to go.
