Not life, but for the same sentence the men would have received if convicted. But it won’t happen. Except in rare cases, a woman who makes a false accusation just gets to walk away. That really (redacted) me off because the men’s lives are ruined and it makes it much harder to get justice for real rape victims.

While I agree with the sentiments on punishing fake accusations, punishing a woman who recants her charges would tend to make women refuse to admit their lies thus innocent men may rot away in prison.
The reason why kidnapping is no longer a death sentence. Why leave a live witness when the punishment is the same for a dead one.
