She is not credible, although she is sympathetic, but only if your biases predispose you to sympathize with her despite all of the credibility warnings. This is just good enough for dem strategists who think it will fire up their base. At least, that’s where it has devolved to now. When they were about to spring her on Kavanaugh, they were hoping for a massive sympathetic response from the middle and even part of the right, particularly among women. But here is the problem with that, while women are very sympathetic to women being victimized, because they are aware that it happens (much more common as domestic abuse but that’s another debate) but women also know women, and how petty they can be, and how shameful their prejudices make them, but most of all, women know how to read other women. They can spot a fake. It just takes a lot of prejudicial bias to suspend disbelief and accept her BS anyway, and from the far left you will get that.
The problem for those strategists is, I believe is growing more clear, that this whole thing is firing up the base on the right. It is for that reason that I say, let them delay it a bit more. The closer this thing drags out to November, the better.
