That link didn’t work, but if the page I found about fentanyl and risks of exposure for law enforcement officers is the same document, it mentioned a couple anecdotal cases without any information regarding the follow-up of what treatment and life-saving procedures were performed — that would be interesting to know. The various articles never go that far. .

People wear fentanyl patches that provide transdermal administration. Every day patients receive fentanyl injected directly into their vasculature without any dire effects.

All that said, yes, definitely exercise caution with unknown substances and don’t inhale it or put it on your skin.
