If you were a typing student back in the days of the manual/electric typewriter era

If you were a penmanship student, back in the days of such things, you had a "copybook" of phrases that you would write, over and over, to develop your skill at penmanship ... and as a side benefit you would learn moral lessons that were contained in the headings of each page in the copybook.
