Republicans learn nothing. Ever. They make the same mistakes over and over and over and over… without end.
One of the mistakes they forever make is that they cede the language to the Left. Once you do that, you are already halfway toward losing the argument. In the case of Christine Blasey Ford and her bullshit allegations against Judge Brett Kavanaugh, that is exactly what they are doing.
Even before her Senate testimony was complete, conservative pundits and Republican strategists (exaggerated eye roll) were on TV telling us that Ford’s testimony was “credible.” They have not stopped since. Almost every time I hear someone on the right discussing this shameful circus of a confirmation process, they begin their comments by telling us how “credible” or “believable” or “sincere” or “heartfelt” or “genuine” this woman appears to be. I would like to ask a question as seriously as I can… Are you F#CKING KIDDING ME?? Were we watching the same hearing?
I was a prosecutor. I was a defense attorney. I have been through many trials and have examined many witnesses. I did not find her to be credible in the least. From her obviously fake almost-crying to her 12-year-old intentionally-raspy valley girl voice, I found her entire performance to be nothing but cringe-inducing bad acting. Perhaps Alyssa Milano, the washed-up child actress who was present for the hearing, was her coach. That would certainly explain why Ford’s acting was so abysmal. For all her emotion, not one tear. Not even one marginally-watery eye. Did you see any redness in her face indicative of a person on the verge of tears? Me neither. How about a runny nose? Did you see any sniffling from the good Dr. who is so well-educated that she doesn’t even know the meaning of the word “exculpatory.” Seems to me, all this woman learned in all her years of schooling was how to pronounce the word “hippocampus.” And let us not forget her complete lack of EVIDENCE. But I digress. Back to the genius Republicans who keep referring to her as “credible.”
Let me be clear. I do not believe that I am alone in my thinking that Chistine Blasey Ford is an obvious liar. I don’t believe that most of the people describing her as “credible” actually believe it. Not for a second. I think they have bought into the idiotic belief that we must not be seen as questioning this woman’s sincerity or honesty. They think that the politically-wise course of action is to say that she is telling the truth that something happened to her, but that it was not Brett Kavanaugh who did it. This is so stupid that it infuriates me that I have to point it out!
If we are going to say that she is “credible” and “believable” then how the hell, in the next breath, are we seriously going to claim that we don’t believe her insistence that Kavanaugh did it? Yes, I know, there are cases of mistaken identity. But come on, is that really a strong argument? No. Not only No, but Hell No! Think about the person who is only paying partial attention to all this. They turn on the TV and hear some conservative politician or Republican “strategist” telling them how “credible” and “believable” her story was. What is that person to think? Do you really think they will then be persuaded to believe that Brett Kavanuah is innocent even though you just told them how credible his accuser is?
Let me tell you exactly what I think, since I am one of the few on our side who actually appears to be doing so. I think Christine Blasey Ford is a liar. I think she knowingly and intentionally made false allegations of attempted rape against an innocent man. I believe this 100%. And because I do, I think that she is a despicable human being. What are her motivations? I am not certain. Why? Because we don’t know a damn thing about this woman. Nothing. Think about that for a moment. We know virtually everything about Brett Kavanaugh and NOTHING about his accuser. And to this day we still know nothing about Christine Blasey Ford despite the fact that we had an experienced sex crimes prosecutor asking her questions under oath on national television. Perhaps if she treated her like the middle-aged adult woman that Blasey Ford is, and not a terrified second-grader, then she might actually have asked some tough questions!
I have had enough of this circus. I am convinced than an innocent man is being smeared by false accusations of attempted rape. I believe almost everyone on our side thinks the same. So please, for the love of God and justice, have the courage to say so!
Thank you for posting this. I can’t take it any more. How can someone with NO DETAILS be credible? The only thing credible about her is her acting ability.

I know right. To be honest watching her didn’t move me one way or the other. Certainly no way to ascertain if she was credible. I honestly couldn’t say from her performance but I already concluded that she was not credible from the fact she couldn’t say time and place, and that it took her 36 years. Nothing she said changed my mind on that.
Someone should have handed Ford a little pink hair tie to go with her little girl act so she could get the hair out of her face like a real adult female would. I can’t call her a woman. That would be giving her too much credit. She does seem like a female of some kind though.
I agree. She’s a lying whore. Many here on FR use that “credible” to describe her. I do not know if they know what that term means!

Nothing you’ve said here changes the fact that her testimony was not “credible”, and the POTUS and anyone else who has stated that it was has seriously discredited not only Judge Kavanaugh but also themselves. A pig referred to by any other name is still a pig.
I agree! She was anything but credible. She said he attacked her but with no substantiating evidence at all. The 3 people she said were in the house with her all deny it. So there is absolutely no evidence that she told the truth.
