I looked into this a few days ago.

Randall (a/k/a Sylvia Dorothy Adkins, Sylvia Najjar) either previously owned the house and sold it to Ford, or rented a room of the house from Ford (or possibly a prior owner) to conduct her “couples counseling” a/k/a Couples Resource Center.

She has since moved to West Linn, Oregon and is an artist. She also continues to offer couples counseling and other therapy. Her website has comments from 2013. The website also says she moved to the Oregon 6 years earlier, but a starting point of reference is lacking.

So, she may have sold the house to Ford in 2007. Or moved when Ford purchased the house and didn’t want her to continue her practice from the residence.

Randall either lives with or is married to Stephen Najjar. He is apparently into classic boats. He had one in some directory in the Bay Area I found. He is now active in a wooden boat organization in Oregon.

There is a 2007 conveyance of the property, as well as a 2010 conveyance. It is possible that the 2010 conveyance was for no consideration and a transfer from spouse to spouse (separate property).

The house was listed for $1.2MM in 2007 – I suspect this was the year of the Ford purchase:

We need a title commitment to see the history of recorded deeds/conveyances.

The relevant question is the name of Ford’s therapist. If the therapist was Sylvia, then there are question marks.

Note: I tried to include an image of the 2007 listing but it does not show. It was from a Palo Alto local newspaper dated May 25, 2007.

Dr. Randall's California license was renewed on 8/2/16 with an address of record at 5933 Lake Alamanor Dr., San Jose CA 95123. Zillow makes that property look like a rental. I found the owner, but have no reason to post the name here.

I looked up the property in Oregon. Dr. Randall and Mr. Najjar appear to have bought it in 8/2005. Mr. Najjar's name came off the deed in August 2009.

That's Sydney. The California licensing returns her and Sylvias records when searching on the later.
