I’m not convinced on the Safeway thing. There are some reports that they were bought out by another company in November 1986 and that is why that date is being shown.
I remember when they were bought out. I lived in the DC area in the early 80’s and Safeways were everywhere. I think focusing on this is futile and will be proven as a true point of her testimony. I think there are better arguments to disprove her narrative.
