Ha ha. Hard to imagine how they’re going to have much ammo left to fight the next nominee. They may try the same stunt again, but it will be weaker still than this effort was. This effort was really quite weak. The only reason it’s been a bit scary is not knowing how deep the weakness in the Republican senate caucus goes.
Isn’t their typical attacks sexual assault for males and stupidity for males and, especially, females? I’m guessing a female for RBG who will be decried as an idiot. Possibly ethically challenged in her research if they can find somewhere in her writing where she forgot a footnote.
But the bigger question is did they already win?
Did they do what they set out to do? Scare every potential candidate of character away. Especially women. We’re all amazingly shocked that Kavanaugh stuck to the nomination process. We’re shocked because we don’t expect those kinds of guts. Now who has the background to be a Justice AND has guts?
The left will demand a female replace RGB. They'll get just that with Amy Coney Barrett of Indiana. Immune from sexual slander, they'll have to come at another angle.
