I don’t understand why RR would be running this operation. Sessions isn’t recused from Kavanaugh confirmation. He could tell RR to stay the hell out, and then direct the FBI investigation, including vetting the investigators to keep out DS swine. Maybe that’s what’s going on, but all I hear about is RR.

Except when you connect the dots as you’re doing - which then suggest RR = White Hat vs. Black Hat
Either RR is DS and trying to insert himself to screw Judge (errrhhh Justice) K
OR RR is on good guy team and helping take the “investigation” to places the DS + Dems never expected it to go (i.e. straight at Ford + clowns)
I always read lots of “RR = BH” into “Q” posts and other things -but I rarely / NEVER do the opposite. That IMO is the best indicator that RR & the Mule (by association / extension) are at least leveraged (the paid in full post on the weekend could indicate) - because it’s what’s *NOT* expected or suspected.

Q long ago said that we should not be thinking in terms of White Hats and Black Hate. We should be thinking in terms of leverage. Rosenstein was leveraged a long time ago. He has been following Trump's orders, and his latest maneuver cleans the slate. He will be permitted to resign without prosecution. He has been immunized by virtue of what he has been doing for Trump.
If you look at the DoJ Org chart, you see Sessions at the top with only one person reporting to him — Rosenstein — and then Rod has all of the bureaus and subdepartments under him. DAG is da man at da DoJ.
