I’ve tried to write a comment about this thing several times but each time I get so angry I can’t finish. How gullible do these people think the American people are? Failing to produce any evidence or witnesses, and waiting 36 years to open her mouth, this hen should have been arrested for endangering the life of a public official. Because of that mouth, Justice Kavanaugh and his family are now receiving death threats. Instead, she’s been given carte blanche by the media and a U.S. Senate subcommittee. Her slanderous outpourings are no different than some unhinged idiot yelling “Fire!” in a crowded theatre, and should be treated exactly the same way. Where are the criminal charges?
Not to mention that if trying to passionately kiss a girl, when you’re 17 and you’ve both had a couple drinks, and maybe just maybe she flirted with me? I mean, don’t understand why Mitchell didn’t ask just a little about the foreplay. Or, why were you upstairs to begin with....etc..
I’m sorry, Folks. I was single till almost 30. I was in College and Medical School then a physician. The girls were chasing me....If the Judge gets horse whipped for what he did at age 17, then we’re living in a Time Warp. We might as well go back to the days of Little Women and Pride and Predjudice.....

All they're trying to do -- the only thing they're trying to accoumplish -- is to give Collins, Murkowski, Flake, et al. any shred of a reason to not confirm this decent man.
That is, even if the FBI finds no crediblity to Ford's charges, the mere fact that this "supplemental investigation" is so limited will be reason for the Democrat/Left to scream that it is not a "real investigation" which may just be enough for even more delays up to the election. I calculate that although the Democrat/Left has no more than a 30 percent chance of pulling this off, it's a real possibility they could.
I think the most effective thing the GOP can do over the next six days is for Republican senators and President Trump to pound on their "weak sisters" even harder than what the Democrat/Left will is, without any doubt, already doing. Although Flake may be a lost cause because of his hatred of President Trump and that he is quitting, the others may be more receptive to not ruining a good man's name and his family because of their differences with the President.
My point is that this must happen now ... not after the FBI issues what is likely to be a clearly inconclusive report (i.e., "we didn't find anything, but that's because we weren't given enough time to find anything").
