We know that Dems are in being badly led since much of the retirement of the old guard, but how does anybody think they will perform come this election? This is assuming no bombshell revelations about the Republicans that hurts them a lot

What took yesterday against Judge Kavanaugh will come back to bite the Democrats.

The DemocRATS treatment of Kavanaugh is going to resonate with voters this fall.
I think Lindsay and Kavanaugh became millstones yesterday. I’m on a lot of apolitical, sports-related messageboards that responded to Kavanaugh the way FR responded to Strzok.
Pushing ahead with Kavanuagh is a tactical error. Withdraw him, nominate that woman Barrett who’s even more Pro-life.
In addition, I trust 538’s forecasts. Their methodology is sound and they have a track record of accuracy. They’re giving the Dems the same chance to take the Senate they gave Trump to win; about 35%.
There will be a giant swooshing sound as many RATS are drained from the swamp on election night.
It seems that Trump is out touting policy and accoplishments.
The Democrats are promising Bread and Circuses, much like the Roman Empire.
My prediction for the Mid-Term elections remains what I have predicted from the beginning of this year.
Republicans will pickup 12-20 house seats and hold the majority in the house easily.
Republicans will pickup 6-12 Senate seats and enlarge their majority in the Senate.
No one will say it, but, the Democrat Party has no real, functional, effective leadership. It (The Democrat Party) is self-destructing internally. Sending Obama/Clinton to campaign against the political power of “Trump” (30-50) massive political rallies is the joke of the century. Obama draws about 1500 people at maximum, Clinton draws 50-100 people, at that. Trump draws 20,000 people per rally....Game over for Democrats!!!

The key to sinking the dems is to Get Out Zthe Vote
depends on how much cheating they get away with and if the President will finally release ALL of the still held and redacted Docs that are still being held in DOJ and FBI and other places.
If these two things are done and a new SC judge placed, should be a great RED wave! SHOULD BE!
Be nice to see some of the massive asset to start of an announcement on them...but keep hearing that comes later...too much before the 2018 mid terms!
I'm more optimistic than I was a couple of weeks ago when I felt that Republican voters suffered from complacency while Democrats were energized. I think the Kavanaugh hearings have sparked a fire and have woken a lot of people up that the Democrats aren't playing around. They're out for blood.
We just might owe a debt of thanks to Senator Feinstein for firing up Trump's base.
It will be a red wave.
