If I had arrived back at the car a minute or two later, it would have been gone and I would have had no idea what to do or where it would have gone!

I'm not a lawyer but it seems likely that, strictly speaking, the Trooper was within his rights to proceed as he did.Of course he could have cut you a bit of a break by saying something like "OK,if your truck is here within 5 minutes they can take it.Otherwise, this truck takes it".

LOL, I have no doubt he was within his rights...MY rights didn’t matter, and he wasn’t going to unhook it except I was so pissed and the other truck showed up before I actually had to lay down...I was so steaming hot I was going to do it.

I had just survived a hair raising experience...I would have burst an artery if I had come back and the car was gone!

For what it is worth, that guy in the video is a jackass. That is completely different.

My brother and I flew back from Florida and had a guy sitting next to us who was going home from a repo man convention, of all things!

It was fascinating. A repo man convention, never heard of such a thing! He said people try to get clever, park the car they are repossessing in the middle of a bunch of other cars, but...he grinned and said “We got ways to get them, and we do!”
