We are on the precipice, which is why I said yesterday that there need to be consequences for this attempted hit job. I was hoping that Judge K will bring libel claims against the Senators and the press that created this false story, win or lose. Through discovery, he can get emails and messages and social media posts and deconstruct the whole conspiracy from the beginning (maybe a girl who says I knew of that guy in HS and am willing to say bad things about him, followed by creation of the entire story). From that, maybe perjury and suborning of perjury criminal charges can follow.
It can’t be business as usual where the democrats lose and they say, well we gave it a good try. This needs to stop. If it doesn’t, God help us for the next judge.
Good points.
There may be a chance if POTUS ever gets a DOJ/FBI that will do their jobs that they might order an investigation of conspiracy to subvert. The probable cause could start with any number of facts uncovered, for example, the boat rape.
I agree that the democrat mob that arranged this need to be hunted down and held to account.
I am reminded of my studies of the Civil War, that many opportunities were lost because the enemy was beaten and driven from the battlefield without pursuing them for capture. So they lived to fight another day. Had the victors put in the extra effort to chase down the enemy and imprison them, that war would have been over in months, not years.
The Union Army won because Grant never let his men sleep. They were constantly chasing down the Confederates, trapping them, laying siege to them, never letting up, mercilessly brutal and persevering.
The GOP acts like an army under McClellan. POTUS acts like Grant. Hopefully, the GOP is learning that Trumpism is the winning strategy. There are signs of that happening, witness former Linda McGraham now emerging as Senator Lindsey ‘No More Crap’ Graham.
Yeah, but it may not happen because if they try they’re going to hit a wall of [CLASSIFIED]. So, if he DOESN’T pursue it, consider that a potential reasonwhy.
