I hate to be a Debby Downer, Steve, but the statute of limitations has no bearing on this matter, if you ask me.

This isn't a "criminal investigation" per se, but a "background check".

It is my considered legal opinion (haha) that neither jurisdiction nor legality has any bearing on the legitimacy of an "FBI investigation" in this case.

At this point, it's about politics only. No criminal charges will be filed or are planned for, even by the derps. All they need is to turn a couple of votes and BAM. Mission accomplished.

So we best not hang our hats on the statute of limitations or jurisdiction. Trump has "ordered" an investigation so there will be one.

And I'm not even sure that a one week limit on the investigation is gonna fly. There are myriad ways the derps can play for time. Watch and see.

Keep in mind that [RR] expanded the scope of Mueller's investigation and he's still in office. Watch out for his shenanigans.

It will take some ballsy moves by the FBI to nip this in the bud. That's what I'm holding out hope for.

I heard Jonathan Turley on Ingraham tonight. Interesting discussion about the new trend of funding witnesses through Go Fund me pages. How it seems that these witnesses are being enticed by this funding, almost competing for it in some cases.

It would be interesting to “follow the money” especially for the third accuser.

Since Ford’s lawyers are working pro bono, what does she need the money for? Maybe another front door...

Good points Bagster, But this one week ‘investigation’ is limited to current allegations only. If the Dems try to bring more crazies to the table, they will be shown the door.

POTUS is comfortable with a one week delay.

I’m confident Judge K will be Justice K soon.
