That’s not how it works. You’ve been listening to entirely too much RINO propaganda.

There are no primaries for special elections in Mississippi. Instead, this special election to replace Cochran will be held in November as a NONPARTISAN (i.e., the candidates won’t have a “R” or a “D” next to their names on the ballot). On the ballot will be two Democrat candidates plus Hyde-Smith (the former Democrat now turned Republican) and McDaniel (the conservative Republican). If no candidate gets a majority of the vote (and they won’t) then there will be a nonpartisan runoff later in November of the top two vote-getting candidates.

Realistically, Espy (the “main” Democrat) will be in that runoff along with EITHER Hyde-Smith or McDaniel. So THERE WILL BE NO VOTE SPLITTING BETWEEN REPUBLICANS IN THE RUNOFF.

McDaniel is by far the best Republican candidate in the race.
